2nd May 2009 Windsurfing: Spray Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: sweet Surf / Sea State: bumpy Air Temperature: toasty Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sunny & windy !!! Max Speed: Distance Covered: Canned work early and headed to the beach for the classic sea breeze after worker session ..... Headed to Spray and met up with the guys just as they were changing down from 7.5m rigs to 6's Not that I needed much time to decide on my weapon of choice .... It was Kona 10'5 and 5.8m Superfreak for me. Rigged it PDQ and sent PaulP out on it while I got suited up. Once suited (and booted) I grabbed my kit off Paul and had the perfect after worker session with about 10 or so others all out on a variety of kit. Really sweet .. summer suit ... couple of lulls but planing 95% of the time and when not just stuffed upwind. Proper laugh putting the Kona skyward a couple of times, and I think paul was surprised when I put the hammer down a bit .... proper fanging !! Been putting in lots of tacks as its a lost skill, certainly from my portfolio so good practice ... HAPPY |
